Mark Moore’s Excel Books – Review
Having to create some content for students learning computer basics, I came across Mark Moore’s Excel books. Fortunately, I currently have a limited trial of KindleUnlimited, and some of Mike’s books are available for a free read.
Interestingly, he has broken up the functions in Excel to provide a series of instruction. The one I am currently looking over is “Mastering Excel Macros”. The series is broken up in 8 books. Currently each book can be purchased via kindle edition for 0.00 or 2.99. He also has all 8 for 20.93. Smart.
This allows the person to acquire the specific information, or opt for the full series.
While each book has around 24-40 pages, the content is good. I like his writing style, and the books are easy to follow. He provides clear instruction, and clarifies why (something I look for) you are performing certain actions.
He has good reviews overall. Some do comment on the short length, but more on finding it helpful. Although I am reading them free (during my trial), I wanted to take the time to acknowledge them. Especially since I am gleaming some information out of them.
If you wonder how does Mark get paid, since I am reviewing his material by KindleUnlimited, you can check that out here.
Admittedly, I give thumbs up for his work.
- Good content without un-necessary fillers
- Breaking it up gives him possibly more purchased material, while allowing the audience to pick and choose the topic of need.
